Blog #15 Flagpole hierarchy-how do I fly multiple flags on one pole?

-If you only have one flagpole but more than one flag you want to fly along with the United State flag, the US flag must go on the very top. Acceptable flags to fly below the US flag are POW/MIA flags, state flags (if there are multiple, the state where the flagpole stand goes first, and then the states go in order of admission to the union), US territories, military, and the other, non-advertising flags. Company or advertising flags may never be flown on the same pole as the US flag. Other national flags can never be flown on the same pole, they must be on a separate pole on equal standing with the other nation flag. Thank you for your question!
