The CREE Series of Solar Lights fit flagpole diameters of 6" but if you are at the point where you want to install your light on your flagpole has a diameter larger than 6", you will need additional stainless steel bands to secure your light. The adapter kit allows you to mount to any flagpole up to 10" in diameter.

Before you purchase this Kit: Keep in mind that your flagpole is likely tapered.  As you go higher on the pole, the diameter is going to become smaller, so depending on where you would like to position the light, you may not need additional components.

Frequently to deter vandalism, customers will raise their solar light to approximately 10' up the pole so as to be out of convenient reach.
