The heavy duty 8'x12' POW/MIA Double Faced Nylon flag shows your organization's commitment to our military. Created in 1972 during the Vietnam War, the symbol was created to represent POW's and MIA's in the Southeast Wars. Since then the meaning has grown to include all of America's wars since Vietnam and an unstated promise from us to the families and military that we won't leave them.

Specifications

Double Face POW/MIA flags are constructed by sewing 2 single faced flags together with a sheet of Tyvek Blockout Liner sewn between the two flags.
Printed on 600 dpi, industrial printers calibrated for use with top rated Dupont UV Resistant inks.
Constructed on Dupont Solar Max 200 Denier Nylon fabric.
Header is reinforced by using a 9 oz Poly Sateen Substrate. 28% stronger than industry norm, 7 oz duck (canvas) heading.
Sewn throughout with T-60 thread. 60 pounds of pull to break thread. T-45 is industry norm.
Fly-end is reinforced with 4 rows of lock stitch and a 1' wide hem.
Finished with D-Rings to secure flag.

Instructions

If flying your POW/MIA flag on a flagpole independantly, we suggest a 45' or 50' Commercial Flagpole.

When flying the POW MIA flag with an American Flag, the US flag should be at the viewers left. On the 6 days Congress has stated, the POW MIA flag should fly at the viewers immediate right.
