3'x5' U.S. Army Flags most often flown on 12' to 20' flagpoles. Larger flagpoles also look fine with a 3'x5' if flying multiple flags on the same pole simultaneously. The 3'x5' size is a really versatile size. You'll see it on pre-mounted poles such as light poles on Main Street, shopping centers, and on home flag sets. This size is used for residential, commercial, and government applications. This is a commercial grade flag. It is made in America for use by the US Army and government offices. It is reinforced with extra stitching on the fly-end and extra heavy industrial thread. The nylon fabric is matched to the Dupont inks and the high resolution, commercial printers used. All of Military Branch flags are made to official specifications.

- Industrial thread used requires 60 lbs of pressure to break, T-60 Thread. Much stronger than the T-45 typically used in market.
- 9 oz. Poly-Sateen header in Pure White. This is the brightest and thickest header material found in the market. Most use 7 oz. duck which is called often called canvas for marketing purposes.
