The 10 lb. Matte Finish Plastic Floor Stand is one of the most common styles on the market.  It's a favorite because of its low price point and from being widely sold as a component in many flag dealers' indoor mounting sets.  It's advantage is its price, it's disadvantages are that sand bases sometimes split and plastic bases don't look as strong and sturdy as metal stands.
